Hobie Cat required a server installation to take them from an IBM System 38 into the new world of technology. TNCC was referred by a software vendor that Hobie Cat chose for their new system. After deciding on the software, a team of 3 was created with the software company, TNCC and a cabling company TNCC works with. Mr. Baldwin required a system that would keep up with company growth and cause little or no down time in its installation and applications usage.
Hobie Cat proceeded to grow at a rate of 300% in the last 5 years and due to TNCC’s network designs, only needed a 20% increase of staff. TNCC installed an Exchange server, a SQL server, and a backup server. Mr. Baldwin is completely satisfied with TNCC and HP products and had the following to say:

The key to keeping a business running is keeping your systems running, good response time and quality maintenance – Cost is secondary to service when your business relies on your computer systems. Fred has great staff, and if we call on something, it is taken care of. We have a complicated system; some people say they could handle it, but TNCC has an understanding from the backbone all the way to the user, and I am reluctant to ever think about using another consultant.
